What a start! Strasburg strikes out 14 in first big league win

For seven innings on Tuesday night, the Washington Nationals rookie pitcher showed us why we did so.

Even in the face of seemingly impossible expectations, Strasburg put together a debut for a 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates that the sellout crowd at Nationals Park — or the national audience watching on MLB Network — won't soon forget. The flame-throwing righthander struck out 14 Bucs batters over seven innings, allowing only two runs, four hits and zero walks in the process. He threw 94 pitches, 65 for strikes, before being lifted for a pinch hitter in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The 14 strikeouts set a single-game franchise record for the Nationals, a team that Strasburg was charged with saving upon being drafted No. 1 in the 2009 MLB draft.
Why pay over $100.00 per month for cable or satellite TV services?
You can watch TV on your PC today. If you are fed up with paying outrageous cable bills, and are ready to make the switch to watching TV on your computer, now is the time to act. Not all satellite services are created equal. In fact, most television for PC services are downright terrible. With poor picture quality, outdated software, lousy customer service, and limited access to the channels
you really want to see, many satellite for PC providers just aren’t worth making the switch.
